My sons will NEVER be like you.
I’ll raise them to be #kings, in the full awareness of the amazing, vast, diversified African ancestry flowing in their veins.
They will not look outside of themselves for validation or fall prey to the lies of Earth.
They will not use their masculinity to subjugate or malign women or any beings they share the Earth space with because they will love and adore the Divine Feminine energy along with the Divine Masculine.
It means to act with integrity, kindness, valor and strength. It means to protect the most vulnerable among us and celebrate Love in every aspect instead of machismo, ego and dominance.
My sons will be all of these things and more…nothing like you.
My sons will not cower when they should stand, they will not embrace deceit over truth and they will venerate, love, nurture, adore, protect and respect Black womanhood because it was theirs and every person on Earth’s vessel to Life as we know it.
Yes–Black womanhood. It must be spoken about and revered because for too long, too many like you have demonized and degraded us for centuries, but no more.
I can’t do everything, but I can and will do my part because I am a Queen in my own right, with my own challenges, duties and standards within myself to uphold.And that includes raising conscious, strong, intelligent, kind and powerful Black men who know and love themselves, their women, their families and their communities enough to fight for them every. single. day.
